Happy Gobble Gobble and all that jazz...

Thursday, November 26, 1998 [11:45 PM PST]

The site has just undergone a major overhaul, although you probably can't see a single difference (except for it loading faster). But, on this end, maintaining it just became a WHOLE lot easier. I'll have more info in the days to come about how I brought about this wondrous change, and how you to can benefit from modern technology. Yes, after watching 'Triumph of the Nerds 2.01' last night, I realized that the internet is the new blood of the world, and let me tell you something, I wanna jab a big needle into an artery! YEAH!

Hopefully everyone out there in the USA is having a good Thanksgiving, and for all the other people out there in the world, hopefully you just have a good day. You know, you might consider positioning your respective governments to get it adopted as a holiday in your country as well! Why, you ask? Simple, so you can get the day off from work! It really don't mean much more than that anymore! heheheh...

We Won't Stop!

Wednesday, November 25, 1998 [02:10 AM PST]

Just finished a new songs entitled "We Won't Stop!", which pushes my Paris system harder than any of my previous tracks. I used over 10 different keyboards in this track, as well as many many many effects. It has a very nice clean feel to it, so it falls under the [Sin] category... I will probably be a creating a site on MP3.COM sometime in the next week or so for my [Sin] tracks in the Electronica section, for all to hear and enjoy.

Also in the news, there's a new article available, concerning making/using drumloops with your handy sampler. Be watching for my next article entitled "Wired for Sound", which deals with (you guessed it), wiring you studio and keeping track of it all!

Spread the word!

Sunday, November 22, 1998 [12:10 AM PST]

I've been running around, spreading the word about AnalogX... You can catch all the sites you can find AnalogX info on in the links page (on the top). I also went out and added this page to some of the search engines out there, to see what kind of response that gets.

I will be uploading a new song to MP3.COM today, 'Nimble Kitty', a quirky song with a nice groove and some really cool breaks. I also will be putting up some works in progress songs up for people to check out...

In other completely unrelated news, I picked up a Diamond Viper V550... Great card! Performance and then some; those Nvidia guys really have it going on!

Domain Name Running!

Tuesday, November 17, 1998 [11:38 AM PST]

Yes, that's right! The site now is online and operation on the domain name of (none other than) www.analogx.com! But, I imagine you already know that, since you're here, and I really didn't spread the word around while it was being hosted on my local site. Even better, we're on a superfast T1 server operated by GroupLogic (so if you need webspace, at a good price, call up these guys, and make sure to tell them I sent you!).

Also in the news, my studio is back up and operational! After being down for the last couple months, it's back online and not to much the worse for wear (although the ESI 4000 is acting up). Make sure to check back in the next couple of days for some clips of songs that are in the works!

This day's really moving! The AnalogX page on MP3.COM is up today! Make sure to go there and download every single song there, RIGHT NOW! Stop reading this!! Go there now! Oh, you want a link? Ok, here it is .

The First Incarnation

Friday, November 13, 1998 [02:17 AM PST]

I bid you welcome to the first incarnation of the AnalogX web page; your primary source for information about the band, and their thoughts about the world around us. Among other things, you'll be able to find out about new tracks we're doing (sometimes we may even put up a preliminary MP3 for voting, etc), see which bands influence us, and why, as well as just about anything else that may cross our minds... That's it for now!
