View your site as search engines do...

Sunday, April 23, 2000 [06:39 PM PST]

Would you like to know what your website looks like to a search engine? Would you like to get better placement on the search engines? One of the best ways to do this is to analyze the words used, and now there's a new weapon in the crawler battles - AnalogX Keyword Extractor (KeyEx)! KeyEx has the ability to extract all the keywords and sort them based on how they're used, then you can apply weighting values that can be customized for any search engine out there - a MUST for anyone serious about search engines! It's available right now in the Download/Network area, so grab a copy and start extracting today!

Bug fixes and press fun...

Thursday, April 20, 2000 [08:29 PM PST]

I've just finished hammering out some bugs that were in the new version of NetStat Live, so if you're using it and were getting strange results, than please head over to the Download/Network area and grab the new version! I'd like to thank everyone that helped me track this one down - it was really difficult since I couldn't reproduce it locally - thanks again for all your help!
In press news, there's a really cool review of the website over at KNAC.com , where they call the site a "Renegade Code Warrior For the Masses" - a nice change from being called a Shrine to it's creator! :) heheh... Either way, a fun read! I guess the site was also mentioned in this month's EQ Magazine , although I haven't seen it myself (you think they'd at least put a link to my site up on their Links page, but no such luck).

Let there be TLD's...

Sunday, April 16, 2000 [12:19 PM PST]

AnalogX WhoIs ULTRA is undoubtedly one of the most popular and powerful of the WhoIs searching utilities out there, and it's just gotten quite a bit better! Version 3.0 is hot off the assembly line and available for download right now in the Download/Network area, and boasts many of the features that people have been clamoring for. What to search other top level domains (TLD's), such as .de, .co.uk, or others? No prob, the new version supports searching ALL the TLD's, and can be easily modified to check any others that become available. I didn't stop there, it also is substantially faster, includes a new super-fast method of looking up large lists, a cancel button (finally!), and more!

Behold - NSL 2.0!

Friday, April 07, 2000 [04:45 AM PST]

One of my personal favorite programs on the site is AnalogX NetStat Live, and I'm very pleased to announce that version 2.0 is now available for download! How could this already awesome tool get any better? Simple - by adding features suggested by users like you! :) The new version still has the same great info that the previous version had (and then some), but now boasts a totally new look and feel - very sharp, plus you can select what is displayed, and what isn't. The new version is available in the Download/Network area, so start watching your bandwidth usage today!
On the press front, there's an interview up on Shareware Music Machine's for anyone who's interested - it was a fun one, and they asked some good questions; plus they even entitled it "AnalogX - the God of freeware"! heheh...
