Adam Sandler is up to his old tricks in movie... For those of you who have seen some of his other films, it is very much in the same style, and would be best described as a 'Happy Gilmore with football instead of golf'. The movie is about a lame waterboy (Sandler) who is tormented by the college football team he works for. When he get's fired, and starts working for another lame football team, he discovers that he has the ability to tackle well... REALLY well. Of course, in standard Hollywood style, he helps the team make it to the finals, where he faces off against the team he originally worked for.
Although I personally preferred Happy Gilmore, this movie was VERY funny in parts, and didn't have any long lags in the story. The only part which got old for me after a while was the voice he was using, which got annoying after about 60 minutes or so, but apart from that it's an enjoyable flick. I would imagine if you're a hardcore football fan, you would really get a kick out of this, although it's not a prerequisite. Token link going out to something having to do with this
